The Lanark and District Fish Game and Conservation club was estblished over 100 years ago. We are a dedicated group of men and women passionate about hunting, fishing and conservation.
Over the years we have been involved with serveral conservation and educational projects, Eastern Ontario Youth Hunt Collaborative and Blue Bird nesting box building with elementry schools, several rehab project including Eastons creek and Paddy lake dam, walleye spawning beds on Dalhousie lake, Innisville and Patterson lake and several other projects through out the area.
We meet several times through out the year. Meetings are held at the Lanark Legion. All are welcome to attend, see what the club is all about and maybe fill out a membership application. We have a couple fund raisers during the year, pot luck and awards night and the very popular duck race. Socially we get together a couple time a year, summer BBQ and in the winter a club fish derby held on Patterson Lake.
The club is affiliated with the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters offering additional benifets to our members. Our membership FEE’S and Application can be found by clicking on the links or contact Wendy Tye-LaRocque by email ldfgcc.membership@gmail.com
